I've been practicing Functional Patterns since 2015. I was a traditional trainer for many years and I was managing a gym where one of my trainers was a practitioner. I was very interested in what they were doing (it was so different from all other varieties of training) so I asked them to train a session with me. After one session I knew I had to change everything I'd ever trained. I completed the 10 Week Course (the first iteration) and began training FP 6-7 days a week until I got my first certification in 2016. Functional Patterns Texas opened and I trained clients and myself there with four other practitioners. I also took and taught group classes there. I have trained with 10+ other practitioners from all over the world, including Naudi Aguilar, Kathy Alvarez and Johnny Nielson. I have also taught FP certification courses, as well as trained massage therapists, physical therapists and other FP practitioners. I have been training remotely since April 2019.
